WHEN:
Monday 21 November 2011
10.00am to 12 noon
(Light lunch and networking afterwards.)

WHERE:
Level  1 Conference Room

WHAT:
RDAF Round Two was announced by the Minister for Regional Australia Simon Crean last week, and is worth $200 million. The fund is open to local government and not-for-profit organisations, with grants of up to $15 million available for well-researched, strategic infrastructure projects which provide significant economic and social outcomes, and build on unique regional opportunities.

At the Information Session you'll hear about:

  • The new two stage application process, which includes an initial Expression of Interest (EOI), followed by a full application for the top three proposals from our region (selected by RDA Gold Coast)
  • Eligibility requirements and selection criteria
  • Co-funding requirements and opportunities, including presentations from other State Government community funding programs
  • RDA Gold Coast's Regional Roadmap, which outlines Gold Coast regional priorities and opportunities. (Local project proposals must align with the Regional Roadmap in order to be considered for funding.)
  • Our Community - a world-leading social enterprise which provides advice and tools to Australia's not-for-profit organisations, and helps connect them with funding and resources.

Expressions of Interest for Round 2 are due to be submitted to the RDA by Thursday 1 December.

More information on RDAF, including Funding Guidelines, EOI forms and timelines, can be found HERE.
