RDA Gold Coast, a Federally-funded agency, is the peak regional development body for the Gold Coast region. It plays a critical role in facilitating local economic and workforce development, engaging with industry, and advocating for Federal Government policy, programs and infrastructure investments that respond to Gold Coast regional issues.

Chair Nick Scott said he was delighted with the mix of skillsets on the new Committee, with members drawn from the sectors of health, biomedical and clinical trials, education, training and skilling, transport, marine, sports, industry and construction, Industry 4.0, advanced manufacturing, and tourism and hospitality - all extremely important existing and emerging industries for the Gold Coast.

The RDA Committee is heavily engaged in strategies which build on and support the City’s economic strengths and diversification.
