David Zohar

David is a registered engineer with Engineers Australia and an International Professional Engineer under the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation. He brings more than 22 years of experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, and program and project management, having worked across both the private sector in Australia and Israel and the public sector in Australia.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Transport and Highway Engineering. Over the course of his career, David has contributed to a range of local, state and international professional committees, strengthening collaboration and advancing best practice in transport and infrastructure planning.

David's expertise in transport planning, traffic engineering, and road operations is complemented by a collaborative approach that seeks solutions aligned with community expectations and priorities. This commitment reflects his passion for building sustainable transport infrastructure that supports the long term prosperity and livability of the Gold Coast.
