Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program

The Australian Government’s regional Precincts and Partnerships Program (rPPP) application process is now paused. 

This pause allows existing applicants to finalise and submit applications, and for assessments to be carried out by the Independent Expert Panel.

What you need to know:

Submitted applications:

  • Applications lodged up to 31 Dec 2024 will be assessed in the next batch.
  • Applications lodged from 1 Jan 2025 will be assessed in future rounds.
  • Applicants will be notified once assessments are complete.

Draft applications:

  • Drafts started before 12.00pm AEST, 5 Sept 2025 must be submitted by 12.00pm AEST, 17 Oct 2025 to be considered.

Assessment process:

1. Eligibility check by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources Grants Hub.

2. Merit assessment by the Independent Expert Panel.

The timing and frequency of merit assessment batches are decided by Department. Batches are arranged by the date applications were submitted to keep things fair.
